This “high” rye (75% rye) is aged at least 3 years and is for those of you who prefer your whiskey with a bit of spice. We grow and distill a very specific varietal of rye that gives has a very soft white pepper finish. When complemented with the vanilla and butterscotch notes that come from the corn, it’s no wonder it was named the 2019 “Best Whiskey of the State” in IL at the Heartland Spirits Competition.
