The Pacific Flyway stretches from Alaska to Mexico, the Rocky Mountains to the Pacific Coast, and is used by a naverse assortment of waterfowl and songbirds. The wetlands of the North and Central Valleys of California play a major role as a winter habitats for these birds.
The genesis of these wetlands can be directly attributed to the Golden Beavers until their demise in the 1800’s by the Hudson Bay Company to make hats. Rice farmers have taken over the role of wetland keepers in Northern California.
This bourbon whiskey, made from corn, rice, rye, and barley mash, celebrates the Pacific Flyway and the habitat our Northern California wetlands provide. Enjoy this small batch bottling, it only comes once a year like the Pacific Flyway migration.
