We present to you the unique Spider Steak. Also referred to as Oyster Steak (USA), Arañita (Spanish), Araignée (French) or Pope’s Eye (English), this cut has an unmistakable appearance of abundant marbling resembling a spider’s web.
This small, well marbled piece of meat sits in the aitch bone making up part of the pelvis. It is the location and position of this cut that makes it so rare – it cannot be removed until the entire cow has been de-boned, with two small pieces available on each animal weighing no more than 250g each. Full of flavour and beautifully tender, this cut will not disappoint.
