For them, it all started from making preserves in a tiny Brooklyn kitchen out of the abundant care packages of backyard citrus & herbs family would send from back home in Louisiana. The team behind Brins believes preserving is a passion rooted in the love found in the homes we have both near & far.

Their mission is to marry the highest quality spices & favorite fruits to build the perfect “space”, one balanced with the comfort of familiarity & excitement of a new experience.

As for the word BRINS, it is a cajun french word that means “little bit”. In the owner’s own words, “It’s what I’ve brought to Brooklyn. From my spicy home Louisiana, my incredible travels & now sharing with you. We use less sugar, vegan pure cane sugar, all natural pectin simply made from citrus peels & zero preservatives.”
